Golden Carp Fish with Sesame Poha


இனைகள் இட்டாலும் மறைந்து கொள்ளாது
அணைகள் விட்டாலும் வழியில் நில்லாது 
பொன்னி நதி கன்னி நதி ஜீவ நதி !

Golden Carp fish - 1..contents removed and cut into big pieces for curry.

Rice Vinegar - a little

Fleur de sel - 2 tsp

Turmeric Powder - 4 tbsp

Water - 200 ml

Sesame oil - 300 ml

Black Mustard Seeds - 2 tsp

Black Sesame seeds - 1 small cup ground into powder

Thick poha - 100 grams washed and soaked

Asafoetida Powder - 1 tsp

Ghee - 5 tbsp

Cashew nuts splits - 20

Curry leaves - 10

Split urad dhal - 4 tbsp

Split Bengal gram dhal - 4 tbsp

Coriandrum Sativum - 1 handfull

Mirasol New Mexico - 4 split
Fried onions - 1 small cup

Directions :

In an idli cooker,add the cut Golden Carp fish,vinegar,fleu de sel,turmeric powder and water.Bring it to boil for about 5 minutes on medium flame.On high flame the fish will separate.You can marinate the fish and place on the idli plate also.

Remove the fish from the plate and cool.Separate it's fins.remove any residue. Seperate it into layers.

In a pan heat 100 ml of Sesame oil and add asafoetida,black Mustard seeds,curry leaves,cashew splits,split Bengal gram and urad dhall.Fry for a minute.Add sesame powder,mirasol chillies and fry for another minute.

Add the curated fish and soaked poha.Mix well.You can add fried onions as well.Add some salt if necessary.Cover and cook for 10 minutes.

In a serving plate add the Golden Carp fish and Sesame poha mix.Garnish with chopped coriander and ghee..Have a sumptuous meal !
