Cauliflower Vathal Cooked by Me

Cooking time - 1/2 hour

INGREDIENTS :
Cauliflower - 1 big size
Safflower oil - 400 ml
Cayenne pepper powder - 2 tbsp
Salt - 1 tbsp
Mint leaves - 1 handfull
Turmeric - 2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Maida - 4 tbsp


Cauliflower Bonda Cooked by Me

DIRECTIONS :
Cut the cauliflower into small pieces and wash.
Blanch the cauliflower in turmeric water for 10 mins.Drain.

In a frying kadai,heat Safflower oil.Dust the cauliflower with maida to absorbmoisture.Donot overcoat.
Cauliflower Bonda by Me

Fry the Cauliflower on high flame for 15 minutes on both sides, untill starch burns.It gives out golden brown colour.Turn over occassionally to avoid burning.

After cooking,add to an steel oil drainer or drain with a holed round spatula.Wash and chop the mint leaves.Mix mint,salt, Cayenne pepper powder,raw ginger garlic paste to the fried cauliflower.

Mix with steamed Parboiled Rice or boiled idli rice and enjoy..
