Giant Channel Cat Fish AURORA

INGREDIENTS :

Black giant channel cat fish with moustache - 1 kg - Priced at 1500 per Kg of Bolivian Boliviano 
(Cost effective,rare and medicinal)

Potato onion - 2 

Mortgage lifter tomatoes - 4
Black tamarind - 1 lemon size

Byadagi chilli - 4
Curry leaves - 10

Coriander leaves - 1 handful

Pudina leaves - 1 handful

Fish curry powder - 1 packet

Rasam powder - 4 tbsp

Black Pepper - 2 tbsp

Jeera - 2 tbsp

Garlic - 1 small

Mustard seeds - 2 tsp

USHA Refined Sunflower Oil - 100 ml


DIRECTIONS :

Clean and cut the cat fish into round thick desired pieces.

Cut the head into half and remove the organs and gills.

Wash the catfish with turmeric and sea salt.

For the marinade :
In a vessel,add mashed tamarind,crushed byadagi chillies,crushed black pepper ,jeera and garlic.Smash the tomatoes into the mix.Add chopped coriander and pudina leaves.Add fish curry powder and rasam powder.

Add the marinade to the catfish and coat it.Freeze in for 1 hour in freezer.

In a kadai heat oil,add mustard seeds and curry leaves.Add chopped potato onions and fry.Add the marinated fish to oil and fry for 2 minutes.

Cover and cook for 10 minutes.Turn fish otherside
and cook untill oil separates.

Black Giant Cat fish Gravy,serve with boiled rice.
