Diabetic Craving Cure

Ingredients

 4 servings

1/2 kg Cluster Beans -

Tamarind - 2 lime size

Sweet Onions - 2 big size
4 teaspoon For the Seasoning - Mustard oil -

Curry leaves - 10 nos

Mustard Broken Urad and Split Bengal Gram mix - 4 tbsp

1 tsp Fenugreek seeds -

Dried Red Kashmiri Chilly - 4 nos

2 tbsp Chilly powder -

2 tbsp Curry powder -

4 tbsp Coriander powder -

2 tbsp Rasam Powder -


Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Boil or chop the Cluster beans

as your wish.

Step 2

In a big bottom kadai,add the chopped cluster beans and mustard oil.Fry for 15 mins untill half cooked.


Step 3

Soak the tamarind in water for 10 mins and make tamarind pulp water.Add the tamarind water to the cooked cluster beans.

Step 4

Bring it to boil.Then add sweet Onions.

Step 5

Cook for 1/2 an hour in low flame and allow it to cool.Add salt as required.

Step 6

Blend the cooled mixture into a coarse paste.

Step 7

In a small dressing pan add mustard oil and heat.Add mustard and dhal mixture,curry leaves, Fenugreek seeds,broken red chillies and masala powders.Saute for a minute.

Step 8

Mix the dressing well into the chutney and serve with hot basmathi rice.
