Green Dolphin Malabar Fish Fry


INGREDIENTS :

Green Dolphin fish - Malabar variety - 1/2 kg (Crohn's disease cure)

Cut the head into two halves and remove the organs.Wash and cut into segments.

Big chickpea soaked and boiled - 1 cup

Birds eye chilli - 10
Black sea salt - 2 tbsp

Manila tamarind - 10

Sambar onions - 10

Coconut oil - 100 ml

Hing - 1 tsp

Garlic - 10 

Fennel seeds - 2 tbsp

Curry leaves - 1 tbsp

Lotus leaves powder - 2 tbsp
Baked Lotus seeds - 10
Corn starch - 4 tbsp

Egg - 1

DIRECTIONS :

In a dry pan,dry roast the birds eye chilli,sambar onions,garlic,black sea salt,fennel seeds,curry leaves,hing.Blend them into a fine paste.

Mix the paste with fish ,add corn starch and 1 egg.Marinate for 1 hour.

Donot freeze as the fish is a freshwater fish.

In a pan,heat coconut oil and fry the marinated fish pieces.Fry for 5 minutes on both sides.

Green Dolphin Malabar fish fry is ready to serve.Sprinkle Lotus leaf powder.Deseed the Manila tamarind and add for sides.Serve with smoothly boiled chickpeas and baked Lotus seeds.
