1 kg tender lady's finger
Salt 6 tbsp in 10 tbsp of water
Kashmiri Chilli Powder
300 ml Rice Bran Oil -
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Cut the ladies finger in a hand cutter into small cubes thinly sliced
Step 2
Soak the cut lady's finger in water and remove the unwanted gum resin and wash it.Pat dry.
Step 3
Heat rice bran oil in a low bottom big kadai on high flame.
Step 4
Simmer the flame and add the dried lady's finger in batches using a round frying perforated spatula.Fry untill golden brown.
Step 5
Soak 6 tbsp of salt in tbsp water untill it dissolves.Add 1 tbsp of salt water to the oil slowly.The oil will bubble up.Donot add plain water to oil.It will splutter.Be careful on this risky medicinal procedure.
Step 6
Drain excess oil and put the fried lady's finger in oil dry kitchen paper or steel oil drainer.Donot use tissue paper as it will absorb the medicinal value drug.
Step 7
Sprinkle chill powder raw and ready to eat.1 kg of Lady's finger will yield 250 grams of fried ones.So all is yours ! Enjoy..
