Betal leaf Mathi Fry

INGREDIENTS :

Mathi Fish - 1/2 kg 4 fishes cleaned and gills removed.Full fish.

Sea salt and Turmeric for cleaning

Chilli Chicken 65 Compound powder Mix- 100 gms

Betel leaves - 10 nos

Green pepper kernels - 1 cup

Piper longum - 4 dried corns

Tobacco leaf strings - 4

Butter Milk - 2 glasses

Palm oil - 100 ml

DIRECTIONS :

Marinate the cleaned mathi with chicken 65 compound powder for 1 hour.

Wrap the marinated fish with 2-3 Betal leaves.Tie it with Tobacco leaf strings firmly.

In a kadai,heat palm oil and deep fry the Mathi for 10 mins.

In a seasoning pan,heat 2 tbsp of oil and fry the green pepper kernels,Piper longum and black salt for 2 mins in low flame untill smoke gives out.

Betal leaf Mathi fry is ready.Garnish with fried Green Pepper Kernels and Piper Longum Black Salt Mix.Serve with Ghee Rice and Butter Milk.
