Split into two by dissecting in the middle removing abdominal contents and lying flat on the surface as a single piece/
Sliced slantingly in diagonal axis.
Figaro Extra Virgin Olive Oil - 100 ml
Eastern fish fry masala - 4 TSP
Tata salt - 2 TSP
Marayoor Jaggery - 1/2 block
Green Raw Christ's thorn Carunda berries - 20 nos.Cut into 2

Hungarian Paprika - 4 TSP

Scorched Wholes Cashew nut - 10 nos
Directions :
Cut the Silver bar fish from throat to tail in a horizontal axis.Lay on cutting board with skin below and flesh above as a full piece.Cut off the head first.
சத்தம் இன்றி உதடுகளோ முத்தம் ஒன்று தா என்றது !
In a pan heat olive oil /mustard oil and add the silver bar fish alongside the skin.
Take a tablespoon and add excess oil to the top flesh.Cover and cook for 15 min.Donot turn.
Now sprinked Eastern fish fry masala,Tata Salt on top.Repeat the oiling process.
Silver Bar Fish fry is ready.

For the Pungeant sides :
Take the split Christ's thorn Carunda Berries.Wash in water to remove the C31 carissin
In a Tadka pan add some oil and add Hungarian Paprika,some salt and Scorched whole cashewnuts.Fry untill brown.
In a pan heat Marayoor Jaggery along with 1/2 litre of water.Bring to one string consistency.
Add the green Raw Christ's thorn Carunda Berries.Boil for 5 minutes untill soft.
Add the fried cashews along with Hungarian Paprika.If pungency increased,reduce the paprika level to half and add some honey or sugar before cooking.Usually the pungency goes well with Carrisin.
In a serving plate spread the Pungent Christ's thorn Carrunda.Add the fried Silver Bar Fish on top.Eat with a fork.
Donot eat the Skins!..They are for Leather..
