Snake Head Murrel STEEL


INGREDIENTS :

Snake head murrel - 1 ( has energy boosting properties and viagral )
Head cut and fins cut ,gut cleaned and washed.
Priced at 7000 per kilogram of Belize Barrier Reef according to Veerapandi Block Cut Highway 

Sea salt and turmeric for washing

Gram flour - 4 tbsp

Maida - 4 tbsp

Garam masala - 2 tbsp

Asafoetida - 1 tsp

Potato onions sliced into semi circles - 1
Boiled peeled and smashed Potatoes - 2

Atomic Grape tomatoes split into two - 4
Groundnut oil - 100ml

Mustard - 1 tbsp

Urad dhall - 1 tbsp

Bengal Gram dhal - 1 tbsp

Curry leaves chopped -10

Coriander leaves chopped - 1 cup

Grated coconut - 1 cup


DIRECTIONS :

Take the smashed potatoes and make into lemon size round balls.Coat with maida powder and deep fry for 2 minutes in oil.
Potato balls are ready.

In a pan heat Groundnut oil,add chopped curry leaves,mustard,urad and Bengal dhall.Add chopped onions and tomatoes and fry for 2 minutes.Add asafoetida and garam masala.

This recipe doesn't requires salt even though the fish is a fresh water one.The recipe is palatable.

Add the cut fish with head and mix with the masala.Cover and cook for 10 minutes untill the oil gives out.

Add gram flour to 100 ml of water and pour into the fish gravy.Stir untill the water absorbs and the gravy thickens.

Add grated coconut and chopped coriander.Cover and switch off the flame.
Snake head murrel fish kadappa is ready.Serve with Potato balls.Add Haldirams fried moong dhal mixture for sides.Enjoy the meal at Victoria Falls.,Ashok Textiles
