MENU CHARRIOT FROM TAJMAHAL :

Meen Kozhungurai is an ancient Tamil dish featuring fish and rice cooked with traditional spices, inspired by references in the Sangam-era literature anthology Purananuru.Origins and PopularityThe dish gained renewed mainstream attention after being featured in the Tamil film Annapoorani, where it was presented as a historical recipe recreated by the protagonist. Following the movie, restaurant chains like Junior Kuppanna popularized modern interpretations of the dish. Because actual Sangam-era cooking steps did not survive, modern home cooks and chefs interpret it as a one-pot spiced rice and fish dish.
